worst customer service award goes to…

american airlines.

i booked my flight to chicago earlier this morning and didn’t get an automated email (because what company doesn’t have that set up these days?) saying the transaction went through, so i gave the airline a call to see what was up.

the woman said it did go through but takes 24 hours for them to send an email (what?) and started to give me the confirmation code in phonetic alphabet, but her phone was breaking up, so i asked her to repeat it twice to which she responded “heh…oh my god, i can’t believe this. do you not understand these letters?”

no, bitch…i don’t understand how a major company can have such a shitty phone system. 

would have cancelled my flight if it wasn’t the cheapest i could find.
